" One book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world."
The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery. The pivotal role that a teacher plays in the life of a student can never be doubted. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on 5th September. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan - the great academic philosopher, scholar, the second president of India and above all a great teacher.
The students of Loyola School celebrated Teachers' Day with immense enthusiasm. They performed a scintillating cultural show which comprised songs and dances to express their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers. Friendly basketball matches between students and teachers were also played.
The programme concluded with the Principal's address. Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal, Loyola School, extended a heartfelt thanks to all the students for their successful coordination.
