False declaration about a student's age is a disqualification for admission and subsequent discovery, by the School authorities, of such a false declaration would be enough grounds for dismissal.
Anyone offering donations or pressurizing the administration through recommendations is automatically debarred from admission.
Admission to classes other than LKG and XI depends on vacancies, testing, interview, age and a student's general suitability. Admissions to all classes are closed on the LAST working day in September. 10% of the seats will be reserved for below poverty line (BPL) candidates in the KG classes.
For the withdrawal of a student, at least thirty days notice must be given to the Principal in writing, failing which, one month's fees will be charged, in lieu thereof.
In the absence of any clarity regarding reopening of schools and holding of the ICSE exams, we have not yet taken a decision regarding admission in class XI. Pls check this website in the first week of December for any further updates.
Monogram should be stitched according to your house colour & must be purchased from the School only.
We expect boys to have a short hair-cut, decent hair style with the hairline well above the shirt collar and a clean shaven face.
Only black hair band to be used by girls.
The parents of Loyola School students have entrusted the School with bringing to maturity, the seed of manhood I womanhood that has been so carefully sown in the home. They, however, should co-operate with the School by their total involvement, which calls for a real understanding of the School's philosophy.
Parents should be living examples of the values taught to and expected of their wards, They should inform the Principal and the teachers concerned of any family problems or other pertinent facts that are necessary for a proper understanding and guidance of their wards. They should participate in the growth and development of Loyola School.
To attain total harmony between the home and school:
a) Fr. Principal sends information thro' letters to Parents about the activities, achievements, growth and development of Loyola.
b) Progress Cards are given at the end of each Assessment/Term examination.
c) Parents-Teachers meetings are organised.
d) Parents are encouraged to meet the teachers, by appointment, to discuss the progress of their wards.
e) Parents harassing a Loyola teacher (in or outside the School) for favours for their wards may be asked to withdraw their wards from the School.
f) The School can do very little for students whose parents give bad example or teach something contradictory to what is taught in School.
