Loyola School celebrated the 77th Independence Day of our nation with immense patriotic zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by our Principal, Fr. Vinod Fernandes which evoked a sense of unity and reverence. This was followed by the singing of the national anthem. Glimpses of the glory and freedom struggle of India were presented through a plethora of spectacular performances.

 

 

 

The little ones came up representing INCREDIBLE INDIA and that there is unity despite diversity. The dance performance on the song “Tujhe Namami Ho”, the melodious presentation of “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo” and the soulful recitation in fond memory of those lost but not forgotten soldiers, who do extraordinary things to keep us safe day and night, left the audience stunned. This spirit reflects in the words “When you go home tell them for your tomorrow, we gave our today.”

 

 

 

In his address to the students, Fr. Principal said that true independence can only be experienced when we respect the freedom of everyone. He congratulated the students on their stupendous performance and motivated them to grow up as responsible and conscientious citizens of India so that its glory keeps soaring high.
