Loyola School, Jamshedpur, welcomes distinguished alumnus Prof. Bejon Kumar Misra

Jamshedpur, April 24, 2026: Loyola School, Jamshedpur, proudly hosted a homecoming for distinguished alumnus, Prof. Bejon Kumar Misra—an acclaimed author and international consumer policy expert.

With over five decades of experience in the field, Prof. Misra is widely acknowledged as the driving force behind the landmark JAGO GRAHAK JAGO campaign. He is also the author of the influential book “GRAHAK”, The Man Who Awakened a Nation of Consumers, which chronicles the evolution of consumer awareness in India.

Addressing the students, Prof. Misra shared insights on consumer rights and responsibilities, urging them to become aware and informed citizens. He emphasized the power of youth in shaping public discourse and encouraged the students to question, act responsibly, and lead with integrity in a rapidly growing economy.

In recognition of his remarkable contributions, Prof. Misra was felicitated with a shawl and a memento. His thought-provoking address and an interactive session thereafter left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to think critically and actively contribute to nation-building.
