Loyola School celebrated a successful Bagless Day on 12th April 2025, filled with engaging and thought-provoking activities that kept students inspired and involved throughout. The highlight of the day was the final round of the Inter-Class Debate Competition for Classes IX and X, held in the Fasy Auditorium. Finalists from Classes IXA, IXB, IXC, XB, and XD competed with zeal, presenting compelling arguments. After a spirited round of speeches and rebuttals, Class XB secured the first position, XD the second, and IXC the third. The debate was judged by an esteemed panel – Ms. Jayashree Sharma, Ms. Mitali Mascharak, and Ms. Soma Dasgupta. Their presence added depth and grace to the event, and their insightful feedback enriched the participants’ experience. Simultaneously, the GK Club conducted a vibrant quiz competition that tested wit and awareness, while the Safe Club engaged the audience in an interactive open quiz on road safety, also held in the Fasy Auditorium. These parallel sessions showcased the intellectual spirit and enthusiasm of Loyola students. Teachers played a pivotal role in organizing and executing each activity with clockwork precision. A special word of appreciation goes to the Sports Department for upholding discipline and ensuring the smooth conduct of events across venues. The Debate, GK, and Safe Clubs deserve heartfelt congratulations for their meticulous planning and creative content. The moderators of the clubs ensured smooth transitions and strict adherence to rules. Each event was designed to encourage critical thinking, awareness, and teamwork. The day reflected Loyola’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning. Loyola is truly proud of its vibrant academic culture.
