Fr. Cecil Leeming Volleyball Tournament 2025

Held on 4th & 5th April 2025 at Loyola School, Jamshedpur

Loyola School, Jamshedpur, proudly hosted the Fr. Cecil Leeming Volleyball Tournament on 4th and 5th April 2025, in honour of its esteemed founder principal, Fr. Cecil Leeming SJ. The tournament was a tribute to Fr. Leeming’s enduring legacy as an educator, sportsman, and visionary who laid the foundation of Loyola School and nurtured a deep love for sports and holistic education.

The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Charles Pareira SJ, former Rector and Provincial of Loyola School, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion. His inspiring words set a tone of purpose and pride for the participants, highlighting the values of discipline, dedication, and fair play that Fr. Leeming embodied throughout his life.

Twelve schools from across the region participated in the two-day event, showcasing exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill on the court. The matches were filled with thrilling rallies, strategic plays, and an inspiring spirit of healthy competition, truly reflecting the values Fr. Leeming championed.

Champions: KPS Gamharia

1st Runners-up: JH Tarapore School

2nd Runners-up: DBMS English School

Boys’ Category

Champions: VIG English School

1st Runners-up: KPS Gamharia

2nd Runners-up: KPS Mango

Best Girl Player: Pushpa Marandi (KPS Gamharia)
