Std. 5D : “Summer Time"

Students of 5D conducted the assembly on the topic Summer Time under the guidance of their teacher, Ms Ritu Asthana.

April is here. Birds and butterflies are dancing with glee, shouting out to the world that it's summer time. 
Abundance of sunshine, red gulmohar and yellow Amaltas blooms bring joy to the heart; ice-creams anytime of the day without a reason and delicious mangoes and lichees are the fruits of the season;  hot days and warm lazy nights and long vacation to travel to far off distant lands and hills... the list of things to do is endless. 
 
But summer also brings with it summer woes. 
Dr Aflatoon and Dr Haathi give some valuable tips to beat the heat and stay cool. Being hydrated, avoiding synthetic soft drinks, including lot of seasonal juicy fruits and green vegetables are some ways to keep cool. 
So stay cool and enjoy the summer.
