On the 15th of November 2023, Loyola Junior School celebrated the 23rd Jharkhand Diwas with hearts filled with pride for their state.The day also coincides with the birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda.
The programme began with a brief introduction of the various tribal communities of Jharkhand.The students put up an exhibit of the diverse culture of indigenous people of Jharkhand highlighting their lifestyle and tradition. While the children of the choir group entertained everyone with a melodious tribal song and filled the air with musical sounds creating the perfect ambience of cheerfulness. It was followed by a tribal dance showcasing their rituals, festivals and day to day activities.
The programme gave students a good insight of the various contribution made by our tribal communities and the important roles played by them for the growth and developement of our Society .It was concluded by a brief address given by the Vice Principal, Junior Section Mrs. Vineeta. F. Ekka
